摘要
For the structural integrity in nuclear engineering it is important to investigate the phenomena taking place in the intense radiation fields and to develop the new non-destructive examination technologies of radiography. Radiation Research Center in Osaka Prefecture University has large-scale radiation facilities such as cobalt-60 gamma-ray irradiation facilities, X-ray sources, electron accelerators, and laboratories for handling radioisotopes. From the characteristics of the radiation facilities in the center and the research activities using the facilities the future worldwide collaborations of the researchers in nuclear engineering are expected in the center.
