摘要
Bridging is the ansa: Both neutral borabenzene and anionic boratabenzene coordinate to a lanthanide ion in an ansaborabenzene divalent lanthanide amide (see picture). The complex, which was synthesized through an unexpected C-H bond cleavage, displays notable structural features, and is potentially reactive, as demonstrated by the insertion reaction of a carbodiimide into the metal-nitrogen bond.
