This paper constructs a comprehensive growth assessment system with 17 fmancial indicators which consist of four types of indexes such as the solvency, profitability, cash flow and operating capacity. The growth fators of the listed companies in Growth Enterprise Market (GEM) in china are empirically analyzed using the factor analysis method, based on the annual reports dataof the first batch of 28 listed companies in GEM from 2010 to 2014. The conclusion can been drawn that the growth of listed companies in GEM is significantly related to the profitability, but it is rarely related to a single solvency, cash flow and operating capacity; in order to promote healthy growth of the listed companies in GEM, it is necessary to realize the coordinated development of the solvency, profitability, cash flow and operating capacity.
