Investigation of spectral line profiles by intracavity laser spectroscopy method

摘要
The experimental and theoretical profiles of atomic and ionic absorption lines, obtained by intracavity laser spectroscopy (ICLS) with broadband tunable dye lasers, are studied. The following objects, to be probed in laser cavity, have been chosen: plasmas plume, formed under action of laser radiation on a surface of aluminium target; pulsed electric discharge in helium or xenon; vapour-gas medium of thermal atomizer with impurities of barium, caesium and thallium, introduced into a furnace, The shape of line profile, its width, the shift of line centre, resolved line structure are investigated. The efficiency of the ICIS is demonstrated for diagnostics of plasma with a prevalence of different mechanisms of spectral line broadening.
