Nucleation studies in supersaturated aqueous solutions of (NH4)H2PO4 doped with NaCl and NaH2PO4.2H2O

摘要
Induction periods have been measured far various supersaturated aqueous solutions of ammonium dihydrogen orthophosphate doped with sodium chloride and sodium dihydrogen orthophosphate dihydrate by the direct vision method. Various critical nucleation parameters have been calculated based on classical theory for homogeneous nucleation and the results are discussed. The critical nucleation parameters increase with the increase in concentration of doping in the (NH4)H2PO4 solutions for both the dopants.
