On-line concentration measurement in fluids based on heat tonality

摘要
The concentrations of a wide variety of chemical substances in fluids have to be measured in industrial processes. This can be realised by the use of heat tonality. If the substance to be measured participates in a chemical reaction and the heat which is generated is proportional to their concentration. This paper presents the fundamentals of continuous concentration measurement through heat tonality and an on-line monitoring device which uses this principle. The design and some application aspects of the measurement procedure are discussed.
