摘要
Precession is a typical kind of micro-motion of ballistic targets in space. The precession parameter estimation provides an effective way for ballistic target recognition and classification. In this paper, a precession period estimation method based on the newly proposed k-resolution sinusoidal frequency modulated Fourier-Bessel (SFMFB) series is introduced. By the frequency analysis of the returned signal of precession targets, there are four major frequencies, which are related to the spinning frequency and the coning frequency. According to the linear property of the k-resolution SFMFB series, the frequencies in the returned signal can be projected on corresponding orders of the series. Hence, the precession period can be estimated by the distinct series. Meanwhile, the effectiveness and the robustness of the proposed method with different k-resolution in noisy conditions are analyzed. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
