Synthesis and crystal structures of transition metal(II) coordination polymers constructed by flexible sebacic acid

摘要
Two transition metal(II) coordination polymers [Mn(C10H16O4)(H2O)(3)](n), and [Co(C10H16O4)(H2O)(2)](n) (C10H16O4 = sebacic dianion), have been synthesised and shown by X-ray crystal structure analyses to have six coordinated, distorted octahedron geometry. In the manganese complex, the metal is coordinated by three oxygen atoms from three sebacic anions and three oxygen atoms of three coordination water molecules, thereby forming a one-dimensional network structure. The cobalt complex is a two-dimensional coordination polymer constructed from mononuclear units in which the metal is coordinated by four oxygen atoms from three sebacic anions and two oxygen atoms from two coordinated water molecules.
