摘要
Our previous work about millimeter-wave (mm-wave) network spectrum sharing showed that the proposed link-specific coordination context scheme has gains over both traditional orthogonal and blind full reuse schemes [1]. However, in order to coordinate an individual coordination context for each interfering link pair, a lot of messages need to be exchanged, which causes too much overhead thus makes this scheme difficult to be applied in real network. In this paper, a "coordinated blanking concept" is proposed to enable mm-wave network spectrum sharing with less overhead. The basic idea is that the aggressor (i.e. the network that causes interference) only generate one coordinated blanking pattern which could be applied in network-level, node-level and link-level. Furthermore, the smart scheduling based on the blanking pattern is performed, i.e. scheduling the victim link to the blanking resources of the corresponding aggressor link. We present a relative comparison of coordination overhead and performance evaluation results showing the gains for the different schemes.
