摘要:
Low-fired Mg2SiO4-LiF-TiO2 ceramics were prepared by a conventional solid-state route. The sintering temperatures of Mg2SiO4 ceramics were effectively lowered to 950 degrees C due to the formation of a LiF liquid phase. Such sample was compatible with Ag electrodes, suitable for the low-temperature co-fired ceramics (LTCC) applications. Furthermore, the temperature stability of Mg2SiO4-LiF ceramics was improved by adding TiO2. A typical sample of Mg2SiO4-4 wt% LiF-24 wt% TiO2 ceramics were achieved at 950 degrees C and possessed out-bound dielectric properties (epsilon(r) = 7.5, Q x f = 38,430 GHz and tau(f) = -0.4 ppm/degrees C).
