摘要：

The problem of scattering from an impedance cylindrical body partially embedded in a homogeneous half-space is solved by the modified integral equation method. The accuracy of calculated scattering patterns is substantially improved using the asymptotics found for the electric and magnetic currents on the interface between two media.
