Special needs or special educational requirements have been brought to attention in recent years, like the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Several articles have been published on the assistance provided by caregivers, educators, medical professionals and the intervention programs. However, to date, there is no compiled studies on ASD interventions for children, published in Malaysia. Therefore, we believe, this article, will be the opening to identify the gap that has been neglected and also the scoping review process allows the assessment of the evidence and provides an opportunity to identify the gap in this studies. Thus, due to time and budget constraints, the research was only published intermittently between 2008 and 2018. Nevertheless, a multi-stage iterative group process retrieved about nine articles that fulfilled the criteria and they were published between 2011 and 2017. The participants were children below 16 from the after-effect intervention program such as the Robot-based Intervention Program (RBIP), Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT), Neuro-feedback Training (NFT), Music and Movement Therapy (MMT), Music Education, Occupational Performance Imitation Intervention (OPII) and Portrait Drawing Therapy (PDT).
