摘要
This paper identifies the factors that influence the companies to adopt Internet as a mean to conduct their banking activities. The hypotheses are developed based on previous works utilizing the theories on technology acceptance and on related findings from empirical studies on the adoption of information technologies in economic activities as e-commerce and e-banking. The questionnaire was distributed to Romanian companies. A separate multiple regressions was employed to analyze the data. The results show that compatibility, self-efficacy and technical resources have significant effect on the intention of the decision makers from the companies to use e-banking. Knowing the factors with a determining role in the companies' decision to go from the traditional manner of performing the banking activities to the online trading may contribute to the growth of the online banking services market, making available to all interested parties and all decision-makers in this sense, a list ranked depending on the priorities set and options of the final beneficiary.
