Liquid chromatography analysis of the phenol and Ce(SO4)2 mediated electrooxidation products

摘要：
The mediated electrochemical oxidation of phenol with Ce(SO4)(2) at a platinum anode in a medium of H2SO4 was carried our under different experimental conditions. The products obtained were analysed by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). There had been studied the effects of the intensity of current, of the concentration of phenol, of Ce(SO4)(2) and of H2SO4, upon both the conversion of phenol and the nature and the concentration of the oxidation products.
