摘要
This article discusses the relationship between the practice of free improvisation and the new paradigms of listening and composition which are based on the idea of constructing sound from the overcoming of the abstract idea of musical note. In this context free improvisation is perceived not only as a symptom, but also as a crucial line of force that contributes in a specific way to significant changes in contemporary musical practices resulting from expansion and valorization of sonorous dimension and consequent overcoming the boundaries between sound and noise. Also, in this context, are reported and discussed issues involved in the use of live electronics focusing on sonority, physicality and on the creation of appropriate performance techniques.
