Large coercivity and granular structure of CoPt/SiO2 films

摘要
By post-annealing the as-prepared CoPt/SiO2 samples with the atomic ratio of Co : Pt = 47.5 : 52.5, high coercivity H-c approximate to 14 kOe was obtained at room temperature. TEM and XRD revealed the ordered fct (L1(0)) structure with the lattice constant ratio c/a=0.97 in the granular films with the average grain size around 10-20 nm. The grain size and packing density effect on coercivity are also discussed.
