摘要
The study aims to analyze the dynamics of construction of scientific knowledge of high impact on environmental education. Bibliometrics, scientometrics and thematic development are used to analyze data and indicators of scientific studies on environmental education. These data were retrieved from the Web of Science database, between the years 2012 and 2021. We conclude the existence of a language and internationalization barrier in Brazilian research, inter-institutional and inter-territory networks lead to more widely accepted studies, the themes of environmental psychology and scientific education are the main topics of discussions on environmental education.
