EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON MECHANICAL BEHAVIOR OF REINFORCED RECYCLED AGGREGATE CONCRETE COLUMNS UNDER COMPRESSION LOADING

摘要
In order to research the mechanical performers of reinforced recycled concrete compression columns, six reinforced recycled concrete columns were designed for axial and eccentric compression experiment. This experiment involves the replacement rate of recycled coarse aggregate, relative eccentricity and stirrup ratio three changing parameters. The whole destructive process and failure mode of reinforced recycled concrete columns was observed through the experiment. The cross-sectional stress distribution, deformation, ultimate bearing capacity and other important data were obtained. Tests showed that the axial, eccentric compression destructive process and failure mode of reinforced concrete columns were similar to ordinary reinforced concrete columns'. It is found that the failure mode include large eccentric compression failure and micro eccentric compression failure, the ultimate bearing capacity of columns is decreasing with the increase of relative eccentricity, and the replacement rate of recycled coarse aggregate changes had little effect on the bearing capacity. Through theoretical analysis and experiment with the subject, the calculation methods of strength of axial compression and eccentric compression columns were put forward, the theoretical results coincided with experimental ones well. Results can provide reference and basis to scientific research and engineering application for reinforced recycled concrete structure.
