摘要
Although feedback is a very time-consuming task, it is crucial to improve learning and foster students' development. For this reason, automating feedback has become one of the most pursued challenges within the field of smart learning environments -SLEs-. After performing a literature study about which dimensions of feedback are relevant to properly automate it, we present a novel conceptual framework that structures, explains, and analyses these dimensions. The framework can be key to appropriately contextualize future research about feedback, and can also be a guide for educators and developers in order to design and implement quality feedback in a more methodical way in SLEs.
