Determination of high purity ytterbium oxide by inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry

摘要
The method of inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry for determination of impurities of 30 trace rare earth and non-rare earth elements in high purity ytterbium oxide was studied. The:spectral interferences and matrix effect on the method: were discussed. The matrix effect of Y could effectively be eliminated by using Ga as an internal standard. The detection limits are 0.013 similar to 4.1 mu g/L. This method is simple, rapid and sensitive.
