摘要
For A is an element of M-n (C), let W (A) denote the numerical range of A. It is shown that if W (A) boolean AND (-infinity, 0) = phi, then A has a unique square root B is an element of M-n (C) with W(B) in the closed right half plane. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science Inc. All rights reserved.
