摘要
This paper presents the experimental study of an integrated antenna system consisting of a chaotic Colpitt's oscillator coupled to a Dielectric resonator antenna (DRA). The output port of the oscillator connecting the microstrip line is directly fed to a DRA made of Barium Zirconate ceramic material. Optimal feed position is obtained for exciting the DRA to achieve the desired band of operation. The proposed integrated antenna structure not only shows the ultra-wide band characteristics but also offers a low cost solution for a UWB radar detection suitable for medical applications.
