摘要
This review explores the world of deoxyribonucleic (DNA) polymerases and attempts to define TdT in relation to its peers. Focus is on the enzymatic functions, physical characteristics, and regulation of TdT. The process of V(D)J recombination is also explored and some preliminary work suggesting that TdT may play a role in specific types of learning and memory storage discussed.
