摘要
Organic synthesis on polymeric carriers was originated by Merrifield in his peptide synthesis. The application of polymeric materials for organic syntheses is growing very fast. This article will review briefly some of the applications of polymer-supported phosphorus groups in the organic synthesis. Polymeric reagents have been used for reduction, for halogenation, for dehydrating and in the Wittig reaction. Also, during the reaction the by-products remain attached to the insoluble macromolecule, thus making easier the separation of the desired product from the reaction mixture by a simple filtration. After their utilization they can be "reactivated" and thus reused.
