3-D coupled numerical simulation for flowing distribution and temperature distribution in beam blank continuous casting process

摘要
A three dimensional model of fluid flowing and solidification within the beam blank was established. The influence of fluid on solidification was carefully surveyed. This model can not only analyze the relation between shell and steel fluid, but also compare the temperature distribution in the different technical conditions which can be used to forecast the temperature field, solidification profile and liquid pool depth and adjust technical parameters.
