摘要
What Is the Effect of Professional Development on Teachers' Performance in Lesson Planning, Classroom Management, Teaching Methods, Teaching Tools and Cooperation in a Secondary School In Abu Dhabi. In recent years, policy makers and educational reformers have placed a great deal of emphasis on the notion of providing teachers with professional development and this is reflected in the large budgets allocated to teacher training. While most agree that the issue deserves great attention, a small amount of research has been done to support the impact that professional development has on both teacher performance and student achievement. This research examines the effect of professional development on teacher performance, focusing on the different aspects of lesson planning, teaching methods, teaching tools, classroom management and cooperation in a secondary school in Abu Dhabi.
