摘要
This paper deals with the integration of a Shunt Active Power Filter (SAPF) to the electric power grid and a non-linear load (typically rectifier). The intention is testing the control system by Hardware In the Loop (HIL) simulation under conditions which are closer to the SAPF and the electric power grid reality. A Real Time Digital Simulator (RTDS) and digital Signal Processing And Control Engineering (dSPACE) are used. Results show the load compensation capability (harmonic current and reactive power compensation), through the interface converter. The proposed control methodology makes the system capable of compensating reactive power and harmonic currents consumed by the load, making the distortion level at the Point of Common Coupling (PCC) acceptable, according to IEEE 519. The control system was implemented in dSPACE while the electric system was implemented in RTDS.
