摘要
Electron scattering allows precise determination of the form factors of the proton and neutron, providing insight into their electromagnetic structure. The energy upgrade of Jefferson Lab's CE-BAF accelerator, in combination with large acceptance spectrometers and high rate detectors, will make it possible to push the range of high precision measurements to higher Q(2), probing the small-scale structure of the quark distribution within the nucleon.
