摘要
In this paper, the floating body motion under different regular waves is investigated by our in-house particle solver MLParticle-SITU which is based on modified Moving Particle Semi-Implicit (MPS) method. A two dimensional rectangular floating body is selected to study its response motion under regular waves. The response amplitude operator (RAO) of the floating body at different wave frequencies is calculated. The specific regular wave is generated in the numerical tank to verify the reliability of MLParticle-SITU solver. The RAOs of floating body under different frequency are compared. The result shows that the roll motion of floating body is at the maximum when the wave frequency approximates the roll natural frequency. Besides, the result of the MPS method agrees well with the experimental result and other numerical result.
