摘要：
At present, planners tend to propose multi-use urban greenways to enhance urban form, promote conservation of habitats and biodiversities, provide opportunities for fitness, recreation, and transportation, and promote economic development. Currently, many cities in China are engaged in greenway construction. However, quality, management, supporting facilities and connotation are neglected during the construction of greenways. The author's investigation and researches on Pearl River Delta are presented in this paper. Several suggestions were put forward for the improvement of greenway based tourism development.
