摘要
Developments in the field of symbolic generation in terms of multibody systems (MBS) modeling, CPU performance and software portability were presented. The developments were interpreted as a potential of the symbolic approach in multibody dynamics having a common denominator of fully symbolic generation of models. It was shown that the use of multibody formalisms and of a symbolic generator dedicated to MBS was an ideal approach for dealing with the identification, modeling, and the analysis of multibody systems.
