Structural and electrical properties of Ba5RTi3Nb7O30 [R = Eu, Gd] ceramics

摘要
The structural and electrical properties of the titled compounds Ba5RTi3Nb7O30 [ R= Eu, Gd] were studied. It was found that the compounds have orthorhombic structure at room temperature. Both the compounds undergo diffuse phase transition having their transition temperature well above the room temperature. They show relaxor property and have negative temperature coefficient of resistance at high temperature (above 100°C).
