摘要：

A new concept in display technology that utilizes two or more displays in series has been developed and commercialized; applications are aimed at enhanced depth. that is 3D effects, expanded color, greatly increased contrast ratio, and high dynamic range. The principles of operation will be described for the various approaches to multi layer display and examples of first uses will be shown.
