摘要
We present a simple multiuser detection scheme based on combining techniques that can be applied to Space Time Trellis Coded (STTC) Frequency Domain Spreading Assisted Multi Carrier CDMA (FDSA MC-CDMA) system. The system is operated in a frequency selective slow fading downlink channel. For the purpose of better symbol recovery multiple numbers of spreading codes were employed for a single user. One of the combining techniques, namely Equal Gain Combining (EGC) has been selected as an example that can be used or tested with this type of spreading code aided multiuser detection mechanisms. In addition to that Parallel Interference Cancellation (PIC) has been used to improve the performance of the receiver to indicate, how far this method is compatible with the existing receiver technologies. Simulation results have been obtained when the system is operated with 1, 2, 4, 8 and 16 users with iterations for the PIC.
