摘要
In this paper, a novel printed quasi log-periodic dipole antenna is proposed. It is based on a conventional log-periodic dipole antenna (LPDA) with modifications of the lengths of the dipole units. The proposed antenna has an exponential profile by cutting the opened ends of the radiating dipoles. Compared to the corresponding LPDA, it has improved gain of about 1.0-2.0 dB at high frequencies with the same antenna size and remains good matching in the operation band.
