摘要
The quality of Information Systems (IS) education may be suffering because some university IS departments are not providing a systematic method for preparing and motivating Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTAs). This paper proposes a GTA motivational reengineering program based on several well-accepted theories of motivation. The short-term and longterm costs of the proposed program are also evaluated. By implementing this program, IS GTAs should become more satisfied, better equipped, and deliver higher quality education to IS students.
