Numerical investigation of spectrums of turbulent convection

摘要
Three-dimensional turbulent convectional flows of viscous and incompressible fluid in a horizontal layer numerically is simulated at heating from below. The boundaries of a layer are stress-free. For temperature pulsations the Kolmogorov k(-5/3) and k(-2.4) spectrums have been found. Also we observed for velocity pulsations the Obukhov-Bolgiano k(-11/5), k(-3) and k(-5) spectrums. The last spectrum had been suggested in theoretical works for liquid with large Prandtl number and spectrum k(-3) has been derived in numerical simulations of turbulent convection. The present results are in agreement with experimental results and expand the numerical results of other authors.
