摘要
This article explores the reception of new biological approaches in German-language criminology textbooks. After a historical introduction, seven introductory texts are examined in a longitudinal perspective. Despite an occasional removal of taboos with regard to biological reasoning in criminology, the overall readiness to integrate bio-criminological findings in German-language textbooks seems to be restrained. Three distinctive ways to deal with biological findings can be identified.
