摘要
Silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) in spherical shape were synthesized by using citric acid as reductant and citrate as stabilizer at room temperature. Average size of Ag NPs decreased from 23.40 to 8.20 nm as citric acid amount increased from 0.1 to 0.6 g. Fabricated Ag NPs were characterized by XRD, TEM, Zeta potential and UV-Vis instruments. KD2 Pro thermal analyzer based on transient hot-wire technique was used to measure the thermal conductivity of Ag nanofluid. The effect of Ag NPs size and suspension temperature was investigated. The experimental findings show that with the decrease of size of Ag NPs and the increase of the temperature will lead to the increase in thermal conductivity. (C) 2018 Elsevier Ltd.
