On minimal dynamical systems and their crossed product C*-algebras

For X an infinite 0-dimensional compact metric space and (X, phi) a minimal dynamical system, we give a proof that the crossed product C*-algebra C(X) x(phi) Z is not AF. This proof does not appeal to K-theory. (c) 2005 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
