Housing21-the Web Based Learning Platform. Experiment in the Architectural Education

摘要
Now we can classify using ICT in architectural education in a different way, using a few categories, where the category teaching and communication environment is the most important. It is developing very fast, in spite of existing traditional methods of education. Facts which give evidence of that are created web-based learning platforms. Such interesting experiment was the collaboration of five European Schools of Architecture : Barcelona (La Salle), Bialystok, Brussels, Stuttgart and Liverpool in the frame of Erasmus Socrates Intensive Program. The project started in 2003/2004. Social changes in European societies were the reasons of looking for new housing models. The goal of the program was to find the answer the question of relation social, economical and technological aspects in this context of changes. The main toot of collaboration was interactive a web-based platform created to reflect these factors in the architectural and urban scale.
