摘要
Progress in modeling and measuring temperature effects in vibrating beam gallium orthophosphate (GaPO4) resonators are reported. In addition to the well known thicknessshear AT-cut, temperature compensated cuts exist in GaPO4 for length extensional modes. Experimental evidence of temperature compensated cut in GaPO4 rectangular beam resonator vibrating in length extension is given. Analytical models of temperature-effect are compared with experimental measurements on devices. Experimental frequency-temperature curves are given for several orientations. The agreement between theory and experiment is fairly good taking into account that temperature coefficients of GaPO4 have been experimentally tested only for a few thickness-shear resonators.
