On the detectability of gravitational waves emited by millisecond pulsars in 47 Tucanae

摘要
Pulsars are expected to be important sources of continuous gravitational waves. Although the amplitudes of these waves are small, detectors are being improved to reach enough sensitivities and detect them. We show how close the sensitivity of the resonant-mass detector ALLEGRO was to waves emited by pulsars located in 47 Tucanae in 1999 and comment on detection possibilities.
