The Phenomenon of Clip Thinking: Between Stereotype and Rhizome

In the center of attention of authors - clip thinking as the phenomenon of the modern world. The authors analyze the sources of clip thinking, describing its basic characteristics such as irrationality and spontaneity, giving explanations to the reasons why clip thinking equals to the stereotypes and shows their differences. Analyzing peculiarities of rhizome forming the authors based on the works of Z. Deleuze and E Guattari. The article shows the connection between clip-forms and rhizomatic forms in the art practice. The aim of the research is to find the interconnection between the clip thinking and such other types of intellectual activity as stereotypical thinking and rhizomatic thinking which are typical for our time. And what opportunities open in front of humanities knowledge in connection with the form changing and methods of presenting and processing of information. The authors explain the identification reasons of the clip thinking and the thinking by stereotypes, analyze the features of formation of rhizome and set the connection between the forms of clips and rhizome forms. The authors identify the fundamental differences between these types of thinking.
