摘要
3D visualization and simulation of hydrologic and sediment is an important component of hydraulic and hydropower engineering. With the design elevation of cascade hydropower stations, the flood simulation is employed and the submergence range of terrain can be acquired. An auxiliary grid is constructed to simulating the water surface and the motion of hydrologic and sediment. An interpolation method of the auxiliary grid is introduced, which allows us to create a 3D surface according to streamwise data of hydrologic and sediment. Results of the 3D visualization system demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed method.
