摘要
It is far from the actual situation to use the solid boundary to carry on the gravity dam seismic analysis. However the viscoelasticity artificial boundary condition has good robustness, high precision as well as simplicity, therefore it has been applied more and more widespread in the engineering. This article introduced the inferential reasoning process of viscoelasticity artificial boundary and the viscoelasticity artificial boundary element, based on which the finite element three dimensional earthquake response analysis to the dam - ground structure system of a gravity dam is carried on. The result indicated that the viscoelasticity artificial boundary with radiation damping can obviously reduce the dam earthquake response.
