MAR-AODV: Innovative Routing Algorithm in MANET based on Mobile Agent

摘要
Over the last few years, routing in Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANETs) has attracted a lot of attention. Several well-known protocols have been developed including the AODV, DSR, and DSDV. These protocols, however, can be made more efficient in ad hoc environments. In this paper, we focused on the AODV routing protocol and proposed a novel routing algorithm, named MAR-AODV (Mobile Agent - AODV) to enhance the AODV protocol based on mobile agent. Our simulation results demonstrated that MAR-AODV improved network flows and reduced the probability of packet congestion at intermediate nodes.
