The article grounds the opportunity to solve the today's social problems simultaneously considering the needs of future generations which is the only way to ensure sustainable development. A new controlling methodics for retail trade institutions is offered which would increase the efficiency of retail organizations' acitivities and improve the quality of customer service in a region
