Flux instabilities in current-carrying type-II superconductors

摘要
A problem of the resistivity in a parallel current-field configuration and spiral instability of a magnetic flux in this geometry is overviewed. An instability of a one-dimensional flux-line lattice parallel to a thin superconducting film and to a transport current is modeled as a transformation of initial straight flux lines into the chains of 2D-vortices crossing the film and tilted in the field direction. A pitch length of the first instable spiral-like chain structure turns out to be of the order of a film thickness at all fields that leads to a dissipation rate comparable in magnitude with the experimental one.
