The study of testimonies produced by the ex-desaparecidas ("disappeared women") detained in prisons and concentration camps during the last military dictatorship in Argentina (1976-1983) is fundamental for understanding the repressive system imposed by said dictatorship, as well as its consequences upon the society that survived it. Feminine writing incorporates the themes, perspectives and specific sensitivities of the women's experience that have not been made visible in masculine testimonial narratives. We propose a periodization of these memories taking into account two aspects: narrative strategies and style resources, and the modes of intervention in the contexts in which they circulate.
